Guerlain

Five generations of perfumers.

Founded by Pierre-François-Pascal Guerlain in 1828, the house developed the legendary Guerlinade, a signature accord of bergamot, rose, jasmine, iris, vanilla, tonka, and orris that quietly anchors most of its great scents. From Jicky in 1889 (often cited as the first modern perfume) to Shalimar in 1925, Guerlain has shaped what perfumery is.

Signature Style

Warm, animalic, deeply layered, with a sense of having been worn by women and men of consequence for nearly two centuries.

Oriental / Amber · Jacques Guerlain
