Versace

Italian excess as a fine art.

Gianni Versace founded his house in Milan in 1978 and redefined luxury by making it louder, bolder, and unafraid of itself. Gold Medusa heads, baroque prints, and saturated colours became the visual language of a brand that treated excess as a virtue. The fragrance line followed the same philosophy. Eros, named after the Greek god of love, became one of the most recognised masculine flanker families of the 21st century. Dylan Blue brought an aquatic freshness that suited a younger audience without abandoning the house's confidence. The Atelier Versace line extended the brand into quieter, more contemplative territory without losing its Italian backbone.

Signature Style

Bold, saturated, and unapologetically sensual. Versace fragrances open loud and settle into warm, skin-close drydowns that last through the night.

Woody

Versace's most luxurious masculine: oud and iris sit at the centre of a spiced bergamot opening and a deep sandalwood-amber base. Less abrasive than many Western oud interpretations, it keeps the drama while remaining polished. A standout for cold-weather formal occasions.

Citrus / Chypre

The most architecturally spare entry in the Atelier Versace collection. Calabrian lemon and citron are the entire story, stripped back and clarified through petitgrain and white tea before settling on a clean amber-cedar base. Restrained for Versace, but no less confident.

Woody

The most meditative fragrance Versace has produced. Bergamot and pink pepper open cleanly before a deep incense-myrrh-labdanum accord builds slowly over sandalwood and oud. Quieter than the mainline masculines, but no less distinctive. A fragrance for those who want Versace's intensity expressed in smoke rather than projection.
